Yes. To ensure the shortest wait times and quickest service to our guests, we do require appointments for grooming and bathing.

Yes, our stylists can work with you to create the haircut you desire. We can cut your dog’s hair according to breed standards or even do something a little more creative! Please discuss your plans when you make your appointment.

Yes. Most dog fur is prone to matting at times. If matting is not caught early, it may have to be removed through shaving or cutting the mat out.

Yes! Any of our salon and spa services can be added on to your pet’s daycare or lodging reservation, just let us know ahead of time so we can book your pet’s service.

Recommendations vary based on the dog’s breed, but generally all dogs benefit from a good bath every 4-5 weeks. Some breeds require regular haircuts as well.

While it depends on your pet’s activity level, nails should be trimmed at least one a month. We’re happy to trim your pet’s nails any time they come visit us at Pups & Mutts, just let us know if you’d like to add a nail trim to any service.

Of course! In fact, it’s very beneficial to introduce your dog to the grooming salon early in their life. Familiarizing them with the sights and sounds of grooming, as well as being handled by the groomer, will help them enjoy grooming throughout their life. It is important that we take it slow and at your dog’s pace.
