About Us

Pups & Mutts is owned and operated by the Reynolds family, who have been providing award-winning pet care for over 15 years. Their dedication to bringing quality care to pets began in 2006 when Derek and Krista Reynolds opened Reynolds Dog Resort on the family farm in Tualatin, Oregon. They operate the resort with the help of their animal-loving family, including their five children: Madelyn, Ella, Spencer, Olivia, and Samantha. Tualatin pet parents quickly picked up on the compassion and level of care the Reynolds provided all their furry guests, and two additional Reynolds Dog Resorts opened in Oregon by 2018.

In 2021, part of the Reynolds family relocated to Kyle, Texas, where they quickly recognized an opportunity to make a difference in their new home: as the curtains closed on the challenging year of 2020, pet parents needed a loving, quality place to bring their dogs more than ever before. With all their experience and genuine passion for pets, the Reynolds have made Pups & Mutts the perfect home-away-from-home for local pets.
